Response headers
Every response includes the current state:
x-ratelimit-remaining— requests left in the current minute.x-ratelimit-reset— Unix timestamp when the per-minute window resets.x-ratelimit-daily-remaining— requests left in the current day.
Handling 429
When you exceed a limit, the API returns 429 with a Retry-After header (seconds). Back off and retry — don't hammer.
Upgrade
Pro tier is available at toolcairn.neurynae.com/pricing. Upgrading lifts the per-minute cap to 60 and the daily cap to 5000.
